The app doesn’t count my laps. What should I do?

Make sure location services are enabled for LAPP:

• Go to Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Lapp → “Always” or “While Using the App”.
Other tips:
 • Restart your iPhone completely.
 • Close other apps that use location (like Strava).
 • Turn off Low Power Mode.
 • Delete and reinstall LAPP (your subscription will remain active, but saved sessions will be lost).

Question 2

After an iOS update, LAPP stopped working correctly. Why?

We’ve seen issues on older iPhones (XR and earlier) with the latest iOS versions. The problem often occurs when the phone is locked. This is due to changes in iOS and cannot be solved through settings. A permanent fix requires further development, which may take time.

Question 3

I only see time, but no laps.

Accepted Answer

Check if your phone entered sleep mode or was in Low Power Mode. Also, make sure LAPP is allowed to refresh in the background. On some iPhones, LAPP may not appear in the “Background App Refresh” list — this is a known limitation.
